on may twentieth, two thousand six, i married my best friend. (it was awesome.)

today, six years later, we celebrated with the two most amazing little people we ever could have dreamed of sharing our lives with.

happy anniversary mister hanki. i’m so proud to call you my husband, and so thankful my children get to call you their daddy.

remember this post? that was the day mark left for africa. he gets home tomorrow (two days earlier than originally planned!!) and we are more than just a little bit excited!!! and yes, that is a picture of lila and daddy holding hands in the last square 🙂 my heart is going to be very very happy this time tomorrow.
